    Out of country plates

Driving in Stamford, CT today and I notice a VW Jetta with Puerto Rico plates.

WTF? how is that possible, obviously he didn't drive the car here, but why is he allowed to drive here in US?

They can drive here on thier own plates and liscense without having to register car for up to one month. Different states have diff laws but that is the norm.

Btw...I saw a ricer with liscense plates, "11I11II" and on other time saw a guy with Liscense plate "00O0OO0". Imagine the poor cop trying to read those and call it in.

Thought about doing this but figured they would say run up the only license plate with just o and 0's.

I have seen the PR plates. Has a pic of the castle in the center of the plate. I don't think you have to change them over being PR is a commonwealth of the US.

That is awesome. Must be a trip of a lifetime for those guys. Wonder if they made bike week in Daytona or Sturgis.

Yup. Seen em. Whenever my mother sees those plates, she gets all nostalgic and remembers when she was growing up on the island. Basically, would be considered a state plate. No foul.
