opinions on gto or ws6?
i hope i have this in the right forum, i am new at this and both of these cars. in fact i haven't driven either yet. what would be the best car to get as a daily driver? i have read that the gto is far more comfortable yet the ws6 or ss for that matter is far better looking from the outside in my opinion. i know it comes down to my choice but sometimes it dosen't hurt to here from the people who own them.i won"t be racing or modding the hell out of them just want a fast cool car i won"t get sick of. thanks bob.

GTO's interior is top notch. Also the LS2 comes with enough ponies on the ranch so you wont HAVE to mod it. IMO, it would be a great DD, if you live where it doesn't snow alot. WS6 looks are killer, and will be for a long time to come. But you can get a new GTO for the price of a decent low milage WS6/camaro. That would set my mind right there. Have fun picking!

GTO's look way too boring for me. WS6 or vette would be the route I'd go.

thats seriously a matter of opinion in which you really shouldnt listen to anyone here.. theres adv/disadv in both.. my opinion... test drive both.. dont listen to what you hear... both are amazing cars... it will come down to what makes you feel like you should be in when u sit in it and drive around...

meh
Which doesn't mean much due to the curb weight.
Who cares about that other than females? I've never understood the whole obsession with what the interior of a car looks like. I've daily driven my car 100 miles a day and been plenty comfortable, hell I could go for a 10 hour trip in it and be fine.
I guess that's to be expected from something that looks like a sedan.

The LS2 GTO and the WS6 are very similar performance wise when taken to the strip. The GTO has more ponies but is heavier. The GTO is NOT!! a car that is to plain to turn heads. That is a very sexy car when driving down the road and has a very subtle aggressiveness that just not everyone appreciates. Another thing is if you find a 05 GTO with 20k on the odometer it will cost you almost the same to find a 02 WS6 with the same amount of miles and the GTO is 3 years newer. Also like stated above the goat has superior ride quality and interior comfort. New daily driver to leave basically stock? GTO hands down. Toy to mod and make a dragstrip killer? WS6 hands down (due to weight and solid rear axle design)

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of IRS for some reason, but I love the new GTOs. WS.6 looks are sexy as all get-out, but I'd put my money on an Impulse Blue 05 GTO with the matching interior. I'm down with the subtle aggresivness.

Just some harmless ribbing.
I'd drive a GTO if someone gave me one. I'm not saying it's a bad car, both do kickass, I just prefer the WS6 and honestly if I didn't I'd go get something else.
