One of the best songs...
If you don’t think this song is awesome, you don’t know music.

You'll have to commend me. I listened/watched the entire video. It was okay, not really my thing - I'd prefer J.Cash or some Beach Boys for oldies, but it was alright.

I like music from a time where people actually had talent, and they sounded amazing with limited technology.
Now everything is studio enhanced crap, and most of the singers today have no talent.
I also love the Blues music from the 1920's and 1930's, where one guy with one guitar had more talent than an entire band today.
Robert Johnson, Charlie Patton, Lead Belly, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Son House, Howlin’ Wolf etc...
Most of you guys on this website don’t even know who those people are that I listed above. LOL
I’m not trying to be an ass, but this is what I like, and everybody has their own opinion. So there’s no need to be rude.

the drawback to listening to that music is there will never be any new albums...... even good songs get old after a while.

I like old music as much as the next guy and i will be the first to agree that you don't need talent to be in the music industry these days, but you are taking it a little far. Recording yourself singing these songs, making 50 threads about different elvis songs etc... take it down a notch there chris crocker

Not trying? You just insulted EVERY musician on this website (myself included). I can't even begin to reply to this without writing an essay - and since I JUST started my summer break from college today; that's likely not going to happen. I'll just say that there is plenty of talent in the music world today - and as someone who loves to produce music (yeah, I'm one of those assholes that makes music sound nice and uses computer based editing and I have no soul) I can tell you that technology is NOT the enemy to creativity that you think it is. Technology has opened the music world up to many new genres of music that couldn't even be fathomed in the 1950's that are enjoyed by millions of people today.
If I remember my history correctly as well..... when rock n roll like in that video was introduced there were people saying the SAME EXACT THINGS about how it wasn't creative, had no soul, sounded stupid, talentless singers who people thought were vulgar and crude and not worthy of the title of a musician, and the all and wonderful "Doesn't sound like music to me.". You'd think that with Elvis being one of your heros that you'd understand that the kind of criticism you are giving today's music is the same thing HE faced when he was a musician. I'm sure he's rolling over in his grave if he knows one of his fans is acting like the people that gave him such a hard time in his days.
Ugh.

this guy IMO is probably the greatest guitar player of all time. You say newer music has no feeling...you'd be retarded to watch this guy play and then say he has no feeling. He makes the guitar talk.....no one in the 50's and 60's could do that like this guy can.
