they really need to be retested at 65 and then go from there.

I agree with the retesting, but then they claim we are taking away their freedom. Some are a danger to everyone on the road, including themselves and the sad part is that their own families will not do anything most of the time to stop them. My grandparents lived in New Hampshire and were retested every year after they turn a certain age and my grandmother kept her license till she was in her eighties. She gave hers up on her own because she said that she was no longer able to trust herself driving. I have seen to many articles on the news in the last year about elderly people losing control because they were confused while driving.

Tell me about it. I live in Florida... I dodge old people on a daily basis.
Its actually much more dangerous on foot... I almost got creamed by some bitch in a towncar when I was crossing the road... and she had a red light. She never even saw me.
AS:KJASD:KLGFHE@$@%@%@&*@($^ Man, that pisses me off just thinkin about it. $(@#* old people.

I managed to avoid 3 old people that were aiming at me today. Another good reason for suspension mods!

The REAL trouble with old people is;
unless you're planning to die young one day you will BE one!

As I weave around all the young punks who wrap their ricermobiles around trees....then I can see where us "old people" fuck up from time to time.

We all complain about old people, regardless of our age. However young people have worse driving records... Whats up with that?
