Ok so i think i know what im gonna buy
This is gonna take some saving and some planning, but i think i have finally decided what i want as my next car...
And i know i know this has been mentioned before and i still say that they are very bland cars and they arent worth the $80k people pay for them... That was until i saw this...
http://www.trunktop.citymaker.com/page/page/3617601.htm
i always wanted a GTS, but that hardtop on the vert looks SOOOO SWEET... and i could still put the top down on nice days since its removable...
Time to start saving...

I love the looks of the old Viper. I would love to pick up one of the 92 - 94 Vipers as my next fun car.
New ones aren't that bad either.

Dude, thats fuckin Rad. Lovin' it.
I don't care what people say about Vipers. I still double take and go "look, theres a viper" when i see one.

I like the electric lime green metallic paint they throw on the new ones. Not sure what the color actually is called, but if i had to name it, that would be its name.

If you can come up with the money, don't hesitate. A Viper is a Viper, the car I've personally always wanted, and hope to have myself someday. I'd take one over just about any other car on the market today without batting an eye.

I just really really really... have to think about this...
I mean the cars is gonna be $35k on a very very very good day... and that doesnt bother me... i mean my vette was $20k and it would have cost atleast $15k to get it near 505 hp... and it still wouldnt have been a viper...
Here is where it really gets hairy... the body kit and all the body work is $15k (yeah $15k!!!!!) and they take your body panels so i dont get to sell those off... and it widens the car 2 inches... so i need wheels... another 5 grand... which i could sell the original rims for prolly $2k...
not to mention the $15k in mods that i would hopefully get to do...
if you do the math on all of this... Thats like $80k.....
I mean the cost of the body kit would turn my truck into a show truck (nearly).... and theres no way I would own one without the kit...
I'm gonna have to really think about this before i dive into it... but im hoping i can somehow convince myself its a go...
I mean money wise i dont have a vette payment ($500)... i moved in with a friend ($400)... i dont have credit card payments ($250)... the monte is paid for ($400)... thats roughly $1500 a month...
I mean i should be saving enough over what i was paying 6 months ago to build up a nice little kitty... but an $80k commitment... thats half a house...
oh BTW the kit is called the street serpent I'm not saying its not $15k worth of work, but man $15k.... DAMN....

You sir, have much more money than I.
Remember, a car is disposable. That 80k investment is gone with one stupid mistake (on your part or another drivers part). Also, everyone will notice you first as you go down the road, cops included.
I personally would stick with the corvette... It's an amazing base and can definitely be taken to "viper killer" status for less than 80k.

I hope i have more cash then you... I'm 25 and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering... If a too many 20 year olds start making more cash than me im just gonna give up and kill myself...
Vette is sold... and the difference between a C6 and a viper is only around $10k... and there are so many C6's (approx 1 for ever 2500 people in america) that i would hate myself for getting one...
Once you add z06 fenders and bumper... Wheels... Redo the motor to push 600 or so... all the other lil touches... im still gonna be like $65k deep... and it will just be another corvette... A bad ass corvette, but just another like 1 in 1000 car...
and even spending $15k on that body kit will just put me in the same price range as buying a C6 Z06... and if i was talking about buying a $50k Z i dont think you would be telling me not to do it...

dude thats a big purchase, honestly it might be to much money for a car you know what i mean? and your not going to drive it every day either. I honestly would spend this kind of money on a car if you had millions of dollars man. but thats just what I would do.
there bad ass cars though man.

I'm never gonna be a millionaire...
I mean thats like telling someone not to spend $5k to fly to europe when all they have ever wanted is to see the cathedrals...
I fortunately dont spend money on anything but cars... and trust me ive got atelast a year to think about this b4 i even get enough money to really consider it... But this is the first time ive really looked at a car and said... Thats it... and it not be a 100k+ car...

Black & Brilliant Silver- 1999&1997 SL600 6.0 V12's
what about a $147k Benz V12? It gets me around town nicely. I could get a tune and full intake and exhaust, but I would still only be around 450hp. I can let out of it and it becomes a smooth operator. If it is running at idle you might try to start it again, Silent.
Viper's are awesome, Nobody disagree's.
