The biggest problem you got going there is that hunk of shit 305 sitting between the fenders. put a good engine in it and call it a day. looks like a clean car? are there tons of squeeks, leaks, rattles, and shit that doesnt work?

are silverados 305 or 327? my dad has a '03, i think its a 5.3ltr..not sure though........i know absolutely nothing about 305's....other than the Irocs w/ them are slow as hell.......IMO 4.6 2 valvers are shit....the 32 valve 4.6, in the mach 1's are very strong though

i hate the 2 valve 4.6, always have. love the 32 valve modulars though. the 305 is a derivative of the original SBC. the engines in an 03 chevy truck are lsx derivatives. a 5.3 is like 325 cubes i think. a 327 is also a version of the original SBC. the 305 has a 350 stroke, but a small bore and the small bore doesnt allow enough volume of air combined with the fact that it creates valve shrouding. none of that are good for power. ontop of that i've heard they blow headgaskets. the 305 makes decent torque but past like 3500 rpms they are just total dogs
