OCC Possible Breakup WTF?!
WTF! I know this is a car forum, however, I am just venting
One of the few shows that I enjoy to watch is American Chopper. Anyways over the last three episodes it looks like Jr. is leaving OCC. Previews for this week seem to show Jr. back in the shop however I'm not sure if they hug & kiss and get back together.....To much shit on the TV lately and this is one of those shows I got hook on that I would watch during my physical therapy learning how to walk again....Damn it....

That show has more drama than an afternoon of ABC. They make some nice looking bikes, but as someone else here said a while back, I wouldn't have them put together a tricycle.
Have those guys EVER been on schedule or not pressed for time?

It's all for drama....however...in regards to schedule, If they are always pressed for time I felt they should readjust their timelines, I rather produce a a product built right, then to hurry up and get it half right. Then again I don't build bikes, soi what do I know

eh...occ is overrated.
apparently some guy around the area has one and i was askin a shop about it as they were working on it. i guess that they wired it "however they felt like it with whatever wire they had laying around." no color coding to speak of. kinda cobbled together piece of crap.

jr sucked at building bikes anyways.....
I used to watch the show until one episode, I saw Jr. pounding in a rear wheel shaft bearing with a hammer.
hmmm when you need to press in a bearing, you either use a press or the ghetto mechanic way of finding a socket that is the same OD as the bearing, and tap on the socket with the hammer. JR, the fucking idiot he is, mushroomed the bearing.
Jesse James is/was a great bike builder, OCC is drama filled joke.
as a odd side note, Jason Pohl, is my gfs cousin. I dated her for 4 years until I found that out. crazy shit.

All those build out shows like that, or "pimp my ride" or whatever and the few other shows like that are almost always in a time crunch. Oddly, pimp my ride is one of the ones that isn't as bad as some of the others, but they're more worried about making that show blingy and flashy for the MTV demographics.
Overhaulin' is probably one of the best shows about that for not really always "acting" like they're behind or time crunched. They obviously are crunched, they've got like a week to do miracles, but it's not like the "will we get it in time" and "waiting for parts" drama is played out through out it.
I've seen OCC maybe 3 times. I'm not impressed.

I found that he is having a show on Spike
"His latest show is called "Jesse James is a Dead Man" and it premieres on Spike TV on May 31st, 2009. The show features Jesse doing death defying stunts"

OCC used to be ok. Back before it was 'Paulie, Jr, and Mikey go to Disney World' every episode or it was all about some theme bike for <insert charity>. The premise of each show evolved to being a predictable OH SHIT FUCK JR YOU'RE A DUMB ASS WE'RE BEHIND SCHEDULE PAUL SHOWS OFF HIS ARMS AND SLAMS SHIT AROUND THE SHOP MIKEY QUIT BEING A LONG HAIRED RETARD WASTE OF SPACE WE'LL NEVER GET IT DONE UNTIL THE VERY LAST MINUTE AS WE'RE PULLING IT OFF THE TRAILER IT ALL MAGICALLY CAME TOGETHER.
That said, Jr isn't the builder per se. He's the guy with the vision to create something unique. He was always made to look good by the skills of real builders and machinists in the shop.
