    Illinois Issues blog: House committee approves funding for Obama's presidential library, again


    Besides being managed by the National Archives and Records of Administration previous libraries have raised by private funds & donations to build them. Not surprisingly this will be the first to use tax payer funding.

    Funding for Specter's library was a part of the PA budget 2011 iirc

    his "people" in Chicago are pretty pissed at him so I dont doubt he's moving...he just shipped a bunch of illegals to his ole home in Chicago so im sure he doesnt want any part of that city anymore. He cant get anymore votes or money out of it, so no use being in it anymore...

    Couldnt help but notice that its surrounded by mountains...probably not the smartest idea from a defense stand point. Secret Service will have hell covering all the elevated points around it.
