yep, and some states are even letting prisoners out, en masse, because of lack of revenue and/or overcrowding. i think kalifornia is the latest to do this. situational awareness and exercise the right to self defense.

You live in Houston. Don't the churches and senior living centers there have bars over the windows?

I'd be moving on out of Houston. Screw that. My friends left there last summer to here. They have told some crazy stores.

Burple- 1966 427 Cobra Replica
Per the 2009 stats, violent crime is lower in Houston than Atlanta, Baltimore, Buffalo, Detroit, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Cleveland, Memphis, Oakland, Miami, Nashville, Philly, Oakland, NYC, Chicago and DC.
It's roughly the same as Tulsa...

Per those same stats, Minneapolis has the highest rate of forcible rape.
What's up with that?

yep, and they are trying to ban open carry there.... CCW is a joke there because it's "may issue", not "shall issue", ..and "may issue" means, in some localities, you "may" have our permission, only if we think you are worthy, or you are an important person like a celebrity/VIP/etc. - hardly a "free" state, more like a totalitarian state.
CA will be sued, by the NRA, the SAF, and other pro-gun and libertarian groups, ...well there are suits going on in CA now, but they are smaller in scope - i.e. like the recent Nordike case which only dealt w/ a certain building/venue, ...but CA will be sued, in fact the NRA and SAF are sueing shitcago right now, in the wake of the Heller and McDonald SCOTUS decisions... the sheep don't realize how important these cases were (if they even know about them,...)..
remember when you vote for "president", you are effectively deciding the makeup of the SCOTUS justices and countless other federal judgeships.
