not in my opinion. there are lines to be run, a lot of times you have to dink with the tables on the PCM...

    no...not a bolt on.

    headers...intake...exhaust...those are bolt ons.

if nos is a bolt on so is a supercharger/turbo charger and we all know thoes are not bolt ons.
Bolt on refers to NO MOTOR WORK and no POWER ADDERS ex (supercharger, turbo, nitros) Bolt on also mean to replace external motor parts with better perf parts.

Yea I agree. You have to do a whole lotta shit to get your ride fitted with
N2O. Not just something you can "bolt on" like headers, exhaust ect.

Just NOS is. If you use a NX or Zex kit, then it isn't a bolt on.

shit my nitrous kit was the EASIEST thing to do on my car. there is no programming needed since the jets on a wet kit are matched to add the correct nitrous/fuel to keep a safe air fuel ratio. it is by far the easiest way to gain power however when I describe my car I either call it all stock or a bolt on/ nitrous car so I guess I dont consider it a bolt on.

Well actually, I guess it could be considered a "bolt on" if you just buy a bottle and bolt it in under the rear window of your 98 honda accord and run some fake lines

i would say its a bolt on since you dont have to open the motor up. a tune is needed after traditional bolt ons so why is nx any different. so i voted yes bolt on.

i agree but i think a dry shot through the intake is a bolt on. you only have a few lines to run....

I dont think it is a bolt on .. A set of headers or a SC or a turbo gives you that extra HP every time you crank the car ... NOS will run out , then what you got ??
