Lawn mower runs like shit on E10, sure as shit don't want the E15. Ran 0% E out of Kansas, car ran much better, got about 4 miles per gallon better. Wish I could find that here in Colorado.

That's what I don't understand. They want us to drive fuel efficient vehicles that produce 0 emissions, yet they force this shit into our tanks.
I'm sick of fucking government payoffs.

Is the gov gonna paid for all the leaky injector o-rings and engines that dont last as long?
All this bullshit with stuff like fuel and grades of fuel etc Its all a racket. Its simply in someones financial interests to have this ethanol shit.

I work on cars for a living. Rarely see a problem with ethanol. A few times a year we see running issues with ethanol because of phase separation. When that happens, ethanol and the moisture it attracts sinks to the bottom of the gas tank. Guess what else is down there? the fuel pump pickup. The pump pumps "water" to the fuel injectors/carb and the engine doesn't run well or doesn't run at all if the problem is bad enough. Engine don't run well on water
Same thing happened somewhat frequently to my old boat and my friends boats. But there are ways to combat it. Proper winter storage helps combat ethanol problems. Me and my friends haven't had an ethanol running issue in 2 years now.
Gearhead or not, ethanol has become a political issue. Unfortunately, like most political issues people take sides based on their political affiliation instead of the facts. This is not a republican vs democrat issue. this is a fact issue. Ethanol is not nearly as bad as the republicans say it is and not nearly as great as the democrats say it is.

Don't get me wrong though. I don't like ethanol much. I try to avoid it for my LS1 and my jetski. But I don't lose sleep over it.
