One just went up tonight, and for the first time in 20 years I didn't get to see it go...

Its got tanks and missiles on the rear fuselage racks. Fins look a little small for sparrows look like Aamrams to me. Nice pics though.

Yea no kidding... even before 9-11 they have never fucked around with security... I remember once a launch got scrubbed when a cesna flew over the no-fly-zone around the cape... guys radio was broken... but it was hard to miss the fighter jets that took up a formation around him LOL Originally Posted by Packy

I got to see a day launch a few years ago in Titusville. Definately something to see. I wish I new they were having a night launch. I have been told you can see the light all the way in NY.

I went to centereach. My friend lives in Cocoa, he went there too. His Dad actually does bus tours at Cape Canaveral.

DAMMIT! I knew it would've been awesome! I was in the area for Disneyland back in 1998 or 98, there was to be a 10:30 PM launch and we went to go see it from the beach and then the launch got scrubbed.......for a week.....we were only there for 5 days.
