Nice Formula :)
So I was cruising to Corning, NY the other evening and an LT1 Forumla that didnt look to horrible gets on the highway in front of me. I end up in front of him and when I get to the front I am instantly upset.
The depression portions on the LT1 Formula hood are on both sides of the bood. Towards the back of these things I notice something looking like scoops. The guy went ahead and put those pile of shit LUND scoops on his hood about as far back as they would go. So, not only is there no in-let for air back there but they look just plain stupid.
Now, I am not one to bust on people for what they do to their cars but this is just idiotic. I mean, come on.............who does that?
No wonder our cars get a bad reputation.

Stick on scoops have made Lund a shitpile of money for selling a pile of shit product. I seriously don't know why anyone thinks they look good. Seriously.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
A service writer at my job has those on his 01 Tahoe. I told him about the fiberglass functonal hoods and he just shrugged it off.

Whats bad is people that even put them on backwards.
If anything they just catch air. One guy I know actually cut holes in his hood and said it gave him power. lol However his air cleaner is behind one of his head lights so not sure how it is really helping.
Just sad though because that Formula looked decent from behind and even the side but when I saw those things on the hood a little piece of me inside died.

Saw a truck today in the parking lot of a Sheets in Bellefonte. I'm pretty sure he let a rabid opossum chew the 'inlets' out of the stick ons, that, or he perforated the inlet area with a 1/4" drillbit then knocked it out.

I dont have hood scoops but i do have hood pins on my lincoln town car. They obviously have a function but a week ago i was pulling up to assited living that my great aunt lives in. A very old man was sitting out front and i saw him stand up as soon as i parked out front. The I got out and noticed he was staring at me. I walked up to the entrance and he said sorry for staring i thought you might have been hispanic when i saw your hood pins. I laughed my ass off.
