raiders are about to learn what the rest of the country already knows.....Carson Palmer sucks. If they pull JC for him that will just give me a reason to root against them the rest of the year.

I think you missed it. JC broke his collar bone, and is out for ~6 weeks or more. They dealt for Palmer instead of using Boller or Pryor. Good move, but I think they gave up way too much for Palmer.

Carson palmer isnt great but i dony think he will ruin the raiders. Hes not that damn bad.

ok....makes more sense now. I missed a lot of football action last week because I was out of town. Either way though.....Palmer sucks.

Not really any games that i cant wait to watch this week. If i had to choose i would say the atlanta detroit game.

I hope the chargers smash the jets.

I'm getting pissed off with my area coverage. I get the first 2 games, then after 3 I only get one, plus the late game. Always ATL or NO

very few Cowboys game. I might have the wife let me get the game package next yr from Direct. Is it worth it?

I here that is the only thing worth it about direct. Many people i know that have it say they lose their connection a lot.

I've never had so far, I dropped dish for a few reasons....Was a dish subscriber for many yrs and they never offer shit to me for upgrades, then all of a sudden "if you sign up as a new member you get free HD, DVR, etc" I asked them hey,

I've been with you guys for almost 10 yrs where's my free stuff? Was told sorry we only offer to new customers, this plus increasing my rates.

I see no "NFL Thread" for the whole season so I take it, this is that thread. I was right last year on day one of the preseason that the Pack was going to win. I predict the same outcome this year. I won't predict they go undefeated because seriously thats not a smart bet. I have them winning it with a few loses. They have one of the better chances to repeat thats ever been seen so far. They just need to do two things:

A: Stay Healthy
B: Play their type of game.

You heard it from me now.

Lets examine this, the race for "Suck for Luck"

The Dolphins start the day off by blowing a 15 point lead with only 3 minutes left to the Tebow led Broncos...........interesting!

The Rams must have watched that and in the afternoon game, they allow DeMarco Murray to run for 250+ yards and have Bradford on the sidelines with a walking boot on with a high ankle sprain.................interesting!

So in a game of who can top this, the Colts on the SNF game, decide to stake their claim by getting steamrolled 62-7(at the time I type this). Sad thing, I don't think the Colts would be better than 2-4, maybe 3-3 with Manning, they are old.
