    NFL Pre-season...almost here!

Who's your pre-season Super Bowl picks?

Not a Saints fan,but seeing as how they are the champs and haven't really lost anybody, they're still the favorite out of the NFC.

AFC is a different story though. I hate to say it,but I'm liking Baltimore out of the north. The Colts will probably win the south again,Houston might give them a run for their money. Probably the Jets year to take over the East and I think the Chargers are a no-brainer in the west division. I'm saying my Steelers and the Patriots are wild cards. Out of those teams mentioned or anybody else out of the AFC,who ya think will play the Saints next February?

I am a Saints fan and I'm gonna say repeating isn't going to be easy...gonna be pretty tough really. The cowboys will do well this year if they don't get Romo'd again. I also like Carolina to do well although I don't think they'll be good enough to go all the way.

Cowboys should do well, but I think they will run out of gas and get tired in the playoffs because NFC east is always a dogfight....No Michael Vick pun intended.

Are Romo and Witten still dating? As long as they are, Tony should be concentrated on the field

Cowboys might be tough, ditto on the Vikings. Watch out for NYG, Skins, Niners and Falcons as well. Carolina has a rookie QB and lost Peppers. They still have 2 good RBs, but I don't see them doing much this year.

I bet it would really piss Cowboy fans off seeing the Saints playing in Cowboys stadium on Super Bowl Sunday.

The NFC is the Saints Conference for the taking. Nobody know's if Farve coming back...he probably is but not 100% health wise...so I'd wouldn't put much on the Vikings. Niners will win the west but are not getting far in the playoffs. Although the Cowboys should win a lot of games this year, the Saints will have home field advantage and I don't see Romo winning in the Superdome in the playoffs just yet. I could see the Packers possibly going somewhere in the post season...maybe.

Anyone have any insight on the wide open AFC?

Lets just give the Super Bowl trophy to the Saints right now, how does that sound?

I wouldn't be surprised if the Raiders are one of the better turnaround teams this year. They had a good draft and they dumped Russell, which was a huge addition by subtraction. I doubt they are the slum of the league this year.

    Who is?
    Tampa Bay? Detroit?

I see Denver going 14-2 with Tebow.

Let me go hurry up and trademark "flur-de-three"

Seriously though, the OP is right in terms of the saints not losing anyone of real importance while upgrading in some positions that were lacking last season.

I see no reason why the saints shouldn't be the early favorites.

After the last few years with "Miss the markus" I'll be happy with an 8-8 season. WTH, I'll settle for 7-9

    @ Tebow and 14-2.

Detroit is adding some quality players, I doubt they are the slum.

My vote is for Cleveland or Buffalo to be the slum this year.

Did the Saints resign Sharper or did he leave?

The Raiders beat some good teams last year, and played better down the stretch after Russell was benched. Good draft and more positive atmosphere. I could see them winning 6 or 7 this year.

Baltimore and the Jets would be my AFC teams to watch this year.
