New Star Wars TV show?
A local film maker is working on filming a production for a potential Star Wars TV show and plans on pitching it to the man himself, George Lucas. Below are some clips from interviews. I wish him luck with it!

there's been a star wars tv show in the works for several years now. last i heard about it it was supposed to be set intertwining between episodes 2, 3, and 4 and based on other lesser known characters that have only been explored previously in the expanded universe.

I believe Lucas is working on something. He claims he's done doing work on the silver screen after the new Indiana Jones movie is complete. He wants to concentrate on the stronger, less fragile market of television. Haven't you noticed all the film actors showing up in TV shows lately?

i guess i haven't noticed many movie stars on tv lately. tv may not have as much money in it as a movie does...well...maybe in the long run it does. and it's a more steady paycheck for the actors involved. it's probably less of an investment for a bad television show than it is for a poor selling movie as well. i can see why there is appeal in tv no doubt.
not to mention i've seen a lot of movies where i thought to myself "man i wish they'd make that a tv mini-series and expand on the characters more i really like the storyline here." movies are great but they only give you what...2 hours worth of a story. in normal television depending on your format that's either 2 or 4 episodes. that's just a fraction of a season. and if it's a hit you're talking several seasons to really get to know the characters.
