Haha whichever car actually comes out lol I'm getitn sick of jus hearing about them. When are they coming out? Personally I think whichever car sticks the most to what their concept looks like and has the most performance.

end of next summer? damn, they really need to get this car to market sooner then that. If they underdeliver on this car with all the time they been taking they are gonna crash and burn. If this car really delivers the styling, performance, quality and value they could hit a homer. But jesus its taking a long fucking time to bring to market.

If they can keep the challenger from being too porky it'll move out pretty good with the 6.1...at least high 12's. Don't the charger srt-8's run low 13's/ high 12's?

the hemi 5.7 is overrated in my opinion, they blow up a lot. The 6.1 is a strong fuckin engine based on the 5.7 but I've only driven it in a heavy ass charger and 300. The challenger needs to be light and I predict it being a pig.

Black- 2000 Camaro Z28
I think that the challenger will be pretty cool, but the Camaro will have a bigger impact if priced accordingly. More people out there love GM and the Camaro.

if gas prices keep hovering at the prices they are now, dont expect either car to be out anytime soon.

BlackCherry- Bad Ass 67 Camaro / 2010
The Camaro IS coming out in 2009.
For the 2009 Model year, they come out in late 08.
Next year is 08.
Since they have been so far behind, they will push it out a little earlier in 08, i.e. the end of summer, get the rides in before snow fall.
Has no one noticed all the Commercials with 1st Gen Camaro's in them?
Chevy is pushing that old look to get it back in the miond of the male buyers.
You have one Insurance company, a Tool Company, and now an Oil company, and there are flashes in other comercials.
And it makes no Difference what the gas prices are, people will buy them. Hell, people are still buy Pick Up Trucks!!!!!

Last sunday on my way back home from los vegas on I15 only about 20 miles from my house a black SRT8 charger got on the freeway and got all up in my grill immediately, so i looked over at him and it was an older dude in his fifties i would guess looked at me like he wanted to race so i smiled at him and pointed to him to go ahead first and he did. So i nailed it, hit my nitrous button but nothing there......i used it all up in Vegas at Vegas speeday friday night at the "midnight mayhem" races. Anyways, we got up to about 135 and i was suprised that we were dead even from about 80 to like i said, about 135 or better. Damn, i would of handed him his ass on a plater if i had some juice left. That ol' boy soo happy after that. We slowed down and looked at each other, and he went hauling ass again, probably picked up a ticket done the interstate somewhere. HeHe.

I actually can't wait to see both! I think most of the challenger fans probably don't give a damn any more and probably have grand kids but the camaro fans are still fresh... I really like challengers but love camaros...

LOL!! Yeah, that could turn out to be true. But the challenger doesn't look too great to me. It's almost like a sedan, or some mutated version of the Chrysler 300. The Mustang blows away the Challenger in terms of design and popularity.
The real competition will be between Camaro and Mustang, IMO.
