The New Guy
New guy joined the team about 50 days ago. He had zero tools and started as shop sweeper who shadowed other Techs for 1 week. Picking it up fast and tries hard.
He bought this tool box and had it shipped to the local Sears. These Sears guys had him back his car up for this thing to be delivered into his vehicle, one can only believe it was to mess with him, knowing the details now. They carried this thing to him, a massive, 20" long hand cart thingy. Those "drawers" do not pull out, they are mere painted lines. Pictured below is the tool"box" I'm referring to. (Not actual picture):
I saw him carrying this thing, with a look of shame into the shop. He puts it on a roll cart donated from another Tech and explains what happened at Sears. I was waiting for him to quit talking to start the ripping
We all cracked a few jokes, I laid on the fact I thought it was meant to work on Tonka Trucks pretty heavily. It seriously is the size of a child's toy. A few days passed. Today, I made a fake work order and had him walk to the side of the building to pull in a 1996 Nissan Pickup Truck. He finally saw it as he walked passed the Chevy truck on the left, and the entire shop was standing up on the hill watching his reaction. It was priceless.
An hour passed and he went to lunch. He came back and had this waiting for him.
Welcome to the crew!

I remember the good ole days of hazing (and being hazed) in the service department. Bonus points for putting the Tonka truck on the lift.

Maybe there were some hot female shop techs there?
Also, it's grammar
Another swoop in before 67CamaroRSSS
Edit: Wait, I see that 67CamaroRSSS liked your post and didn't catch the misspelling?
I am disappoint
Unless you purposely edited it and added the misspelling after he liked it.
If so, Well Played Sir!Last edited by CJREX; 07-01-2014 at 03:22 AM.
