new cobalt ss or cheap DD????
i want to stop putting miles on my z28. i put about 62 miles a day on her and am getting tired of seeing the odometer creep up. wanting either a new cobalt ss 08+ or cheapo like a geo metro. i can get a cobalt at a reasonable price cuz i werk at a gm dealer or i can get a loan from wells fargo cuz my female werks there, and get cheap ole daily driver like a geo or old civic for 3-5k. what y'all think

So your asking us whether u should spent 3-5k or 20k? If so, spend the 20k. Its only money.

I bought an HHR SS (same as Cobalt with more cargo) because:
A. I'm tired of driving crap as a second car.
B. It's fast and fun and hauls a ton.
C. It gets good mileage and has a good warranty
D. There were some nice incentives.
I'm very happy with it, and the GMPP turbo upgrade gives me more power than traction. If you're thinking of an SS, act now. GM is dispanding the Performance Division (HPVO) that engineers the SS Chevies and V series Cadillacs.

yeah i read that about the ss and v being put on hold
i just dont really want the payments thats all. i would rather get the cobalt due to the brembo calipers up front. i like the idea of factory launch control, and flat foot shifting as well
