Anybody read the new comparo between the Corvette Z06, Ferrari F430, Porsche 911 Turbo? I thought when we buy performance cars, that's what we were buying performance.
The corvette gets 3rd place, Porsche 2nd, and Ferrari 1st. The Ferrari won 2 performance categories: Top gear 30-50, and Top gear 50-70, and literally was slaughtered in every other category. Am I retarded or does this not make sense. The porsche also wins 2 performance categories 0-60, and 0-100...Oh and then you have the corvette that wins 7 of the categories:0-150, 1/4 mile, rolling 5-60, Top speed, Braking 70-0, roadholding skidpad, and 1.6 mile road course which it won by over 2 full seconds...Oh yeah and it has more interier space, weighs less, and at Price as tested $70,940 it costs half of the other 2 cars. Porsche $130,265, Ferrari $192,545.
But hey the seats in it aren't as nice... They go on to call the Ferrari the best sports car in the world....I think not.
