i hope he doesnt for that price. set up right still shouldnt be that much. i dont see any reason to pay more than 14,000 for it. not if you are in a position where you know you can be approved for it or paying cash. that thing better have brand new tires with the stickers on them still, brakes filter and all new fluids for that price. and that still wouldnt cost 18,888 imo. it is nice though.

kbb suggested retail is $15,645
i wouldnt pay that for a car thats been in a wreck.
you can find 02's with go fast goodies already on them between $10-15k
but hey if thats what he wants i say go for it. thats how i felt when i saw my 02 firehawk that had 38xxx mi for $16,500 2 yrs ago.Last edited by t-rock; 01-27-2009 at 02:12 PM.

I paid 15k for my WS6 M6 with 34k miles and sold it for 12k with 40k miles on the odometer. It was in PERFECT condition. Remember if you ever go to sell the car every buyer is going to see "wrecked" on the carfax.

If he gets it at that price, he is nuts. If he gets it for under 15,000 dollars, kick him in the nuts for me cuz I would pay that price.
I bought my baseline at $13,900 and that was $600 over blue book with only 30,500 miles on it at the time.
They were asking 15.9 but, got them down to the blue book price.
Make sure he checks out the blue book first. Should be around 15,000 but, I just did a blue book close to what that vehicle rings out as and blue book comes up with $12,400
I factored in Missouri but, Alabama shouldn't be that much diff.
Remember, these cars are fetching way over blue book. People are willing to pay more over blue book on these now and for good reason.
Excessive in my book for that car would have to be higher than $15,000

Correction: Wrong year. The retail near as I can figure on it is: $15,645 so, now I would say no more than $17,000
He might be able to wear the guy out if he knows the carfax and blue book alone. That's how I got mine so cheap.

Now, I see the wreck part. That brings it down to at least $12,000 I almost bought one like that. Was in a flood I think but, these cars already have enough electrical probs as it is now.
In the end, like one other up there said; "If you don't intend on ever trying to sell it again, then its worth what you paid for it".

I see more low mile cars that are older have more problems thatn bhigher mile cars that haven't sat around. No way I'd pay big bucks for a car with an r-title. I rebuild them and I know it can be a hassle to sell if it ever came to that.

White- 2000 Trans Am Ram Air WS6
That car was hit hard in the rear. I am the one that traded it in to them. I bought the car all ready fixed from the damages but if you look close to the driver side door you can see different paint were they tried to blend it in and under the hatch there is a crack in the fiber glass. but it is a good running car ( very strong ). I bought the new WS6 sticker in the back and had to put the ones on the door ( Trans Am ) back on. They was not on the car when I bought it. The fogs lights are brand new also . Here are some of the performance parts that I had bought for it ( http://www.racingjunk.com/category/1...NS-AM-WS6.html ) Just P.M. me if you have any Question on the car and I can tell you what I now.
