I highly recommend it. What a change from a wimpy Pierce to butt kicking, fast running, mean Daniel Craig. He is the unrefined Bond, he loses his temper and what's most important he can really fight.
The chase scene in Africa on the construction site is the best in all the Bond movies EVER. Maybe even in ANY movie.
The movie does a good job of explaining how Bond got his heart broken and that's why he just uses women later.
It got 95% at rottentomatoes.com too.
Go see it.

Read the book years ago - loved it. Daniel Craig definitely does the role justice. Makes Roger Moore look like a total pussy. Come to think of it, Roger Moore was a total pussy

There may be no one who can 'be' Bond besides Sean Connery but Craig comes awfully close! Of course, Chuck Norris would kick all their asses with one roundhouse but that's another thread

I read recently where Craig was quoted as wanting to possibly introduce a gay element to the Bond character. If that's the case, I guess the 007 franchise will be jumping the shark soon.

He also can't drive a manual transmission.

Now that you mention it, in one scene (maybe more) he was wearing a skin tight polo without an undershirt, kinda reminded me of a gay guy, or a male model.

It sucked when they showed him gettin' in that sexy car and then crashing it 5 seconds later, though.

But I thought he was a very sexy James Bond. He had beautiful big blue eyes

I didn't think so. I liked this one much better than the others because it showed bond actually making mistakes. While the other ones were cool, I thought they were a bit far fetched in that bond was like a superhero or something. This one showed that he was a real person

The free running in the chase scene in the construction site was amazing
