Never understood...
I have never understood why people blur or blot out the license plates in pictures of their cars. If you think about it, hundreds if not thousands of people a day see you in your car driving around with legible plates. Can someone explain this to me?

They do this as to avoid being owned on the internet or being stalked. There was an internet post where a ricer in a Honda was caught speeding and got a ticket. He bashed the cop online and turned out, the cop and the moron were on the same forum. I think someone posted the link over here too.

Yeah, it's a stalking/privacy issue. You can get a lot of personal information about someone from their license plate.

Yep. On the internet, you tend to piss someone off or make them jealous. In the real world, most people can care less and may just flick you off and curse there brains out. Maybe at worse cut you off... I think you have a better chance find a idiot that will want to steal your shit on the internet now a days... Unless someone follows you home.

people seem to take the internet more serious then real life these days, aint that funny how that works? You piss some hardass off on a forum, and they have your plate numbers, they can do something crazy like report your plate to the local police department where you live, saying you drive like an asshole etc. Then you get unnecessary heat on you for nothing. I dont blame blurring out plates to be honest

I don't either, call my Police department, tell them I drive like a mad man. They still have to see me personally doing it, and I've been pulled over doing triple digits before and thankfully let me go with a verbal warning... Now, I don't really speed anymore, unless it's long flat and can't see a car for miles. Then that's rare here. So like I said, catch me in the act. Want to steal my shit? Come on, I will have your ass on camera in 10 ways from hell. Then track your ass by GPS. If I catch, you can dig a 5.56 MM round out of there ass.
