    Need help, UPS problem

So I ordered a package from amazon on Saturday and it shipped through UPS. It even claimed that they guarantee 2nd day delivery but it still hasent arrived. I needed this statistics book for tommorow and I even had work to do but cant do it w/o the fucking book!!! The status just says that its in transit and it is suppose to arrive today. I tried calling them, but I just get a recording machine and it says that the package is in transit and will be available today. What do I do?? Does anyone have a 1-800 number I can call to speak to a live represenative???

They may have tried to deliver and no one was arround. At which case check tracking page at like 11pm tonight after the driver is back, and the status will be, "attempt made".

Just got off the phone with the rep and she said it will be here before the night ends. I was home all day so I know it wasn't delivered. Should have it by the am, if not...

So why did you wait so long to order it? I mean, I knew what books I needed 2 1/2 weeks before class started.

Wasnt my fault, the book store didnt get their shipment in. No one in my class had the book the first day so I'm guessing the book store didnt get the order. Also the professor told us that he had spoken to the book store and placed the order but when I talked to them they said they never go the order. I usually buy from them, because I dont wanna have problems like this, and its also guaranteed the right book. I can also sell it at the end of the term so I will be paying basically the same if I order online.

If the whole class doesn't have it yet either shouldn't be that big a deal.

Well it turns out they misplaced my package. It never went in for the scan today according to the tracking history. I paid for their service and never got it. Can I ask that they pay for my books?? I mean I did pay for 2nd day air, and due o their dumb ass mistake I never got it

yep, best case you get 100% shipping back. worst case they refund the difference between 2day and ground. even worse they dont give you anything
