theyve been sending my gf emails saying ive cheated on her, they sent one of my friends a letter in the mail spreading the same bs, and now she got kicked out of her house. Ive told them to leave me alone, and they'll change their name and make a new account

I am not an officer. But I was a first responder for my old hometown and the current county I reside. Look up the cyberstalking statutes in your state and contact your PD and ask if they have an internet investigation unit to help find your stalker. I believe this falls under the Patriot Act which is federal. I dunno which statute it is, but the penalties for this idiot is NOT pretty. I know the county sheriff I used to assist has an IIU/Internet Task Force and they DO NOT take this lightly.

Don't let them see you've got your knickers in a twist over it. They WANT to get under your skin. Troll them back. Show them that they could go so far as to killing your dog and you'd still be unphased. They'll get bored quickly enough after they see they're not getting a rise out of you. Works every time.
