Red- 99 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28
Need help from an outside source
ok heres a bit of my background here. i got a 97 s10 blazer not too long ago. tranny went to shit, so i just sold it this past friday. i need a 4wd, and fullsize cuz im an ogre (im 6'7) well i found a couple of deals, and thought i could use input from an outside source. help me with a decisiion please fellas
...im stuck in a tight squeeze...heres the deal.. yukon has a gm replacement motor with 70k on it, and a rebuilt tranny with 10,000 on it. has a little bit of rust. and i can pry pick it up for 1200
where as the bronco, has 192,000 on all original motor/trans. and doesnt have much rust, but the rust that is on it is rot all the way through. but it also has a broken leaf spring hanger so it is literally trying to push the leaf spring thru the drivers rear floor. and also needs tires all the way aroundbut i can pick this up near 750..
i really like both trucks, and would love to have both, but im stuck in a bind here and dont know what to really pick out

I'd go with the Bronco, I am partial to one though. I had one when I was 13, worked on it for 2 years. Has it looking real nice, then stepdad sold it... So post to be my first ride...

well ive had 2 other fs broncos in the past. loved them, but they were the older front end style (87-92) but the all factory equipment with high miles scares me. because one of my old broncos had about 130k before the motor was just done for. but im seeing the yukon 2dr's are rarer than most, and has all the hard stuff done (motor/trans)

Save your money for a plane ticket south, life will be much better in a place that doesn't snow.

Well, I am loyal to the General, and IMO a Yukon would give ya more interior room than a Bronc. Plus that Bronc looks in sad shape. Yukon has newer motor and tranny so you shouldn't have to worry about much. You can also take care of the rust yourself. That Bronc would need some sheetmetal and welding TLC.
My .002.

Because the ford is more of a pos and less truck for the money

thats what i thought also. if i got the bronco id be looking at motor/trans real soon, then fix the rust. where as the yukon has it done, and i can start on the less serious rust with it over time. oh and the yukon has lt headers and full 3 inch exhaust already, and has a tow hitch over the bumper mount on the bronco

Yukon GTs rock!! I like that pic. If I had one, I would lift it. Maybe a 3 inch susp lift with 35s. Black nerf bars, ram air hood, rear roll pan and black front bumper guard.
