Need help making a funeral brochure

My father in law passed last week at 63 after a long battle with emphysema. I need to create a brochure for the memorial. I have scanned pictures and know what to write and have picked out some nice paper however I need help with some sort of template. I would like to take a 8.5 X 11 piece of paper and fold it in half however I am not sure how to set that up in Word. I guess I could literally cut and paste text and pictures and then photocopy it however I wonder if anyone had some sort of template?

There are free templates available at Microsoft's website. They will not be funeral specific but they will offer a basic fold design that you may modify as appropriate.

Avery Dennison also has software and templates that you can download free and is designed to work with their special papers although they will also work with regular paper...

When my Mom passed, one of the things my brother and I did was to create a simple slide show from scanned photographs. We put music to it and made it self-running and we handed it out for people who came to the service.

We also made up a few CDs of music for the funeral home to play.

Most funeral homes will take care of that stuff for you as a part of the memorial service process. You might want to check on that first and save yourself the hassle as you may have already paid for it.
