need help with fuel rail covers
OK i finally got my custom covers from afterthoughts auto and want to put them on. I try putting them on but they didnt want to sit right and latch down. on the passenger side i cant get the cover around the air conditioner line. can someone give me some tips on how to install these?

Sometimes you have to trim those things a tad.....look and see what it is hitting and trim some....

ok, i did some more fiddleing with it and got them on but dont know if they are on all the way. do they look like they are?

Nope. They're wrong. You need to drop the engine to do it properly.

ok it didnt seem like the back snapped in on the driver side so i wasnt sure

Most common problem I see, people neglect to remove the heat tape from the 2 fuel lines. Its near impossible to get the driver side one installed correctly if you don't remove that tape. You have it removed though and they look seated correctly from your pictures.
Did you put the heat deflective tape on the reverse side of the fuel rails?

ya i put the tape on the whole underside of them.
