Need Help Asap

Need to know if 58mm TB on NON PORTED STOCK intake is ok! the ported manifold i got doesnt fit, fucker sent me one from a corvette or something, its almost an inch off,... thats fine i'll just port the stock intake eventually, but will it be fine now with a 58mm tb on stock LT1 intake or do i have to put the stock tb back on?

If the TB is a stocker that was ported to a 58mm then no, but if the tb is aftermarket then you have to 'port' the intake.

But you can post it still on the motor by plugging up the hole with towel and use a dremel to open it up some.

Unless your car is very heavily modified you are better off either stock or with a 52... I have a 52 on my 383 and it is more than sufficient.
