hahah where do i start heres a brief list of places i been to and what i thought of them
1. hawaii: best vacation of my life. expensive as fuck, but absolutely beautiful
2. cancun mexico: nice scenery, touristy, totally centered around liver destruction
3. san juan puerto rico: beautiful scenery nice beach, but san juan is a total shit hole
4. miami florida: very nice, but expensive. more rules in comparison to cancun. HOT WOMEN. I REPEAT HOT WOMEN!
5. southern california: hated l.a, venice beach was kinda cool though. san diego was my favorite city
ask me anything if you want more details because i can fill a whole page about jus the specifics of hawaii. i loved hawaii.

Stick with the Caribbean as the packages are better priced.
Try Cuba so you can confirm burn's story about Fidel being dead!

I've been to Belize, stayed on an island there called Ambergris Caye. Not densely populated at all, tallest building was 3 stories, and most streets were cobblestone/sand. Small town there called San Pedro, amazingly beautiful, not as expensive as you'd think either. There were a lot of island-type clubs, restaurants, and small shops. You could go out and do all the beach activities.
We actually stayed in the inland of Belize the first two nights in the rainforest. That was badass. Then we flew out to the island.
I highly recommend it if you just want a nice, relaxing, tropical vacation.

Jamacia. I've been 4 times. Be sure to go to an all-inclusive resort. People are great! Good food! Good prices! Check it out.

Costa Rica, Very nice, Not to touristy yet. Great beaches and still realitively cheap.

Didn't care for Jamica all that much. You get away from the resort and you have 50 people begging for money, asking you if you want Gangia or asking you if you want a prostitute (Nah My wife was right next to me at the time). Maybe if you are single and not afraid of taking a drug test or getting aids It might be allright for you.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
I was looking at "sandals resort" in carribean for a while; it came with high regard from anyone i've met/had been there.
also, i heard that "Couples swept away" is good for younger crowd
both are for adults only.

Anything all-inclusive and adults-only is a good plan. Especially adults only. They tend to be a little nicer.

what type of vacation? how much money?
You could do a cruise to the Carribean so you get to go to several islands or some other places:
the Atlantis on Paradise Island in the Bahamas-expensive, but amazing
Wyndham Rose Hall Resort in Jamacia, great hotel and has all-inclusive
Cheeca Lodge, Islamorada Florida Keys- great for fishing and everything
Costa Rica is amazing too if you like adventures- zip line, hiking, repeling in the rain forest

1 vote for cancun....and ive beeen to jamica/grand caymen as well....like the ppl far better in cancun and the all inclusive resort prices are unreal.......paid 2400 for 2 to moon palace in cancun last yr....moonpalace.com i think is the link.....that was 5 days..ALLL inclusive ..mid grade liqour...beer..beer in your room...ocean suite with hottub in it....9 resturants....and that included our flight as well....so 1200 per person for a 5 day vaca there from roch ny....spent maybe 100 bucks beyond that in downtown cancun ...reallly cant beat it..
