Near Disaster at the Track Today - California Spee
My buddy and I were out filming runs at California Speedway today, and a SN95 Cobra with 600+ RWHP lost it at about the 1000ft mark, almost hit the Fox Body Stang next to him and then recovered :uh oh: Here is the video for anyone that wants to see the almost carnage. Watching it in real time I thought for sure he was going to tag the other car or the wall .

600rwhp and the car that beat him only ran a 12.7?? serious traction problems as that was obvious....prolly running on shit tires.....looked like he was skating on ice when he lost it

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Looks like he at least had the good sense to lift and to not hit the brakes.

Very good driver.
Did the driver of the Fox pull his car into the center a bit to avoid getting tapped?

That was a busted run from the beginning.
I doubt I would have still been on mine after spinning that much. Would have let off to try something else.
Looked like his goal was to spin the whole track.
