NBA Finals
LA Fakers and Orlando. Not what the NBA or Nike wanted, but I am picking Orlando regardless. They swept the Fakers during the regular season.

orlando was choking in the 1st and 2nd series a little bit and that worried me. they came out and made cleveland look bad. nobody wants to give them respect for that. i think they got a great team and will challenge the lakers. just do what ya did with cleveland. shut down the rest of the team. kobe and lebron will get theirs. dwight will dominate inside and the big man advantage will be what leads them to the championship this year.

ok orlando beat cleveland but lets not get carried away now. You guys are acting like Kobe aint no thing. He has rings already, Dwight Howard doesnt.

I think its great that The Cav's didn't make it. I just wish that the Lakers were not there aswell. To me its BS that the NBA already picked who they wanted in the Finals before they even started.
If the Lakers are so good then by couldn't they sweep past teams like Houston and Denver. Hell it took them 7 games to knock off Houston.
Go Magic.

i still think the lakers will win it but i really hope for the magic to win. i dont like kobe and i dont like the lakers. they aren't a great team. good but not great. too inconsistent. orlando has a lot of room to grow still, but they've knocked off the defending world champs and the best team in the league this year. if the lakers get inconsistent then they will lose again in my mind. kobe will do his thing and get his points, but the inside game will be the key. and i think dwight will be able to overcome what the lakers have there. paul gasol, if on, will be a big challenge but bynum and odom wont.

I stopped watching the NBA years ago. College bball is more exciting to watch for me. Playing Bball in college ruined it for me, I yell at the TV now lol!

I would rather Orlando win than the Lakers but this is the 30th appearance in the finals for the Lakers so the league already decided they will win.

Kobe has 3 rings. He hasn't won a ring without Shaq though. Pistons and Celtics have beaten Kobe in the Finals. LA has no answer for Howard, and that includes Gasol. Kobe had 2 terrific games against Orlando this year, one a triple-double and the other a 40+ game. They lost both games though. If LA wants to win this, the rest of their team better plan on having some stellar games, because their effort they put forth against Houston and part of the Denver series isn't going to cut it against Orlando.
