Pewter- 2002 Trans Am WS6 M6
2nd time Jr has run the number 3 once in 2002 and tonight. He has won both times.

Think about it your driving, it's hot, loud as hell, you think your starting to lose your wits and then you notice the Wrangler 3. Taking you back to when SR drove it. You think you went back in time and think that if you make a move to pass him you will end up in the wall and get a nice DNF for the race. You back off.
Rigged? I don't think on purpose. I think that the drivers get caught up in the moment of the 3 being on the track and they ease off the throttle. Doesn't take much to slow down. If you slow down you lose position. And JR wins. He's not the only one to drive the 3 and win after SR passed. The following race after his death Kevin Harvick drove SR's back up car.
From memory I could be wrong have been before.

He has been saying it would be the last time for awhile. They planned this the end of last year or the first of this year. As you stated it is in tribute to his dad. He has said time and time again he could never run the #3 on a permanent basis. And the reason why, it is his dad's number plain and simple.

That's bullshit, any one of those drivers that have any balls would be in it for the win no matter who the hell it was comin' behind.
Mind games? I call bullshit.
It was everyone else being a pussy for one night so the ol' #3 can win an emotional one, ..., phuck that, ..., what a bullshit win, ..., Jr ain't that damn good, ...

Jr won a race so it must be rigged. Riding coattails? So it's Jr's fault that his dad was Dale Earnhardt? How dare he. The moment Sr died, Jr should have changed his last night, right? This is only the 2nd time he's raced the 3 car. If he was trying to take advantage of his dad's name, don't u think he would have switched to the #3 fulltime? Imagine the revenue that would have brought in. To the haters, Jr can't do anything right. He wins, he cheated or nascar rigged the race. He loses, he's overrated.
