Well myself, I spend a whole day in the hospital,I pride myself on being TUFF, Hell I guess we all do to a certain extent.
I got up Sunday morning feeling ok, then the strangest thing happened, it felt like someone was tugging on my left testicle, then it felt like I had to piss real bad , but couldn't, now that is an un-comfortable feeling , any way I got to the point I drove myself to the E.R. only to have to wait for an hour or so. any way, I finally go back to see the doctor, they do the usual, check the blood pressure, get all the pertainant inf etc.
Then they make me feel like I am stupid ,they ask so,you are here for pain meds huh, I reply what ever it takes Doc.
he says well here pee in this cup, so I did and it looked like rusty water,he says oh my, lets get you to X-Ray, to no avail they couldn't spot the problem, so then it was on to the MRI, BOOM there it is a 5mm stone in the left Kidney.

Let me tell you guys by the time I get back to the room ,I am hurting so bad I am puking everywhere, so the nurse tries 7 times to start an IV ,but to no avail, but sh did successfully blow 3 veins. seems I was de hydrated ,finally they give me a shot of tentional and another of morphine in the ass, and 5min later no pain,and I am in La La land

Problem is, I haven't passed it yet, and 2per day @ 5mg oxycodine's is my only solstice at the time, and as for the cup that was the 8th 6oz cup of water I had drank while at the ER
I was so dehydrated,they couldn't start an I.V. , so I am still trying to catch up on Hydration.

Oh ,yes as for the pain meds there is a small side effect , it is called constipation, I went from being regular at 6.45 am every day to well I haven't in 3 days so I guess its time for a fleet.

So I guess you could call it a shitty situation LOL

I feel for ya...i've had many stones and they are hell. My last one was around 9mm's and it got jammed in my ureter behind my pelvis...they had to go up through my junk and hit it with a laser. Good times..

All of the other ones I passed...which is the easy part. The shit that hurts is when it goes into the ureter from the kidney to the bladder...it backs up urine so the kidney swells and it scratches shit as it goes down.
