My thread Marker.
WTF is up with this stuff. i dont understand them. I even see them in tech. forums. What the hell? Not trying to nit pick, i usually see them from Firehawk. Whats up with this? Am i out of some internal Ls1 loop? Are we tring to show some sort of "internet power"? I duno, im just confused on the whole "Mod Marker" situtation. Seems like you would get lonely in your own thread . Why?......... You know i dont have a problem with you, but i just wasted a couple minutes of my ls1 time looking at your threads and am noticing a pattern here.

It's a marker so we know what threads we've checked.

lol
I read every post in the forums I moderate. To keep track of which ones I've read and haven't read I bump the marker to the top of the page. Then the next night or a couple of days later I just have to read everything above the marker. The marker is locked so I don't have to read it every night also. That's a lot of reading.
I can leave you a little note in them if you'd like. That way it isn't like you opened the marker for nothing.

I also wondered this. Thought it was just like an exclusive golf course. Ya cant play there unless you are in the club. Teasing us with their 'sacred' area.
I take it all back now...

i do it just so I can wait for someone to complain about it and interrupt my conversation with myself. Then as soon as I see a post complaining about it I slap a ban on the pitiful peasant and whip them 100 times with a licorice stick.
Then just for S's & G's I go make a new mod marker post to see who else I can suck into my evil plot.
LMAO .... of course I'm just kidding. It has been answered, but it also allows other moderators know that a moderator has gone through and looked at the posts and anything above the marker hasn't been reviewed yet and may contain offensive material, a flame war, inappropriate NWS pictures etc...
It's a control for Mods.
