My Next Race Car
As a few of you know, I'm selling my Camaro so that I'm able to do a couple of other things at this point in my life. I've been a member on this forum ever since I purchased the car back in November of 2002. GTP231, NHRA Firebird and a few others have seen the car transform over the years from bone stock to what it is today. As to be expected, there's a certain amount of flak that you catch when you part ways with something that you've sunk countless amounts of time, energy and money into. As I was always told, "there is a time to buy, and a time to sell".
That being said, I think at some point in my life I'll have another track car. After seeing what it took to do it from scratch, I have serious doubts about cutting up a near flawless car again. I was on Chevrolet's website this morning reading over the options for the COPO Camaro, and that seems like a solid foundation to build from.

I own a vehicle with a LS era V8. And Im just talking, you're the one that's hating. Him possibly getting that car really does seem to bother you though, which is quite comical
And judging by sales numbers, plenty of people like the 5th gens just fine. That doesn't mean you cant continue to live in the past with a car that is inferior in almost every way.

Won't let me search back far enough, but, talking about getting this raping machine tuned two years ago.http://www.ls1.com/forums/f2/omg-im-...-again-167469/ It was a year or more before that.
blackSS01 - You have no place to talk about making power or "raping" anything. It took you 4 years to make 400HP. Your car is slow, new Mustangs will nose you over. A COPO would embarrass you.

On a vaguely related topic, Lynn Yenko (daughter of Don Yenko) will continue the legacy with last gen. camaros. COPO and Yenko have always put out impressive rides. It will be an interesting build if you decide to go through with it.
