86 Buick GNx - Black- 08 Jeep GC SRT8 - SBM
My New Toy - Turbo Buick Fans (& Everyone Else) Te
It's a 1986 Buick Grand National with 42K original miles on it. The GNX appearance mods were done by a Buick dealership in 1987 using all OEM GNX parts. It's a heavily optioned car with power windows, power locks, power seats, power trunk opener, tilt, cruise, digital dash & digital climate control. It's also got a Kenne Bell front spoiler with direct ram air, Kenne Bell fuel pressure gauge, gauge pod in the dash on the passenger side (this is coming out) and also came with a trunk full of extra stuff like a NOS radio, power seat switches, power window switches, GM manuals and parts listings, etc. Once I inventory all of it, I'll post a list up. The paint looks decent for now. But it will be lined up for a spray job before too terribly long.
Other plans include the GNX gauge setup, suspension & brake system upgrades and some more engine mods I'm sure. Also, ALL badges are getting removed. It's going to basically be a GNX Tribute car (minus the emblems) set up kinda like a pro-touring ride.
My apologies for the pic quality. I just quickly took a few shots while parked on the side of the road Sunday night. Better pics will be coming when I have a little more time to take them.

Possibly a stupid question, but can these cars be made to handle well? I would love one just like yours that has the thrilling power of the turbo, but can take a corner as well. I think they are really clean mean looking cars. Like what Darth Vader would drive lol

Thanks guys!
That's a good question. I'll let ya know what I find out. I am pretty sure it can be done. I'm just not yet sure what it will take to accomplish it.
LOL! About Darth Vader, take a look at the top of May, 1987 Car & Driver...
And a cool pic taken from TurboBuick.com...

Hotchkis make a really good kit for getting them to handle. Nice find. I have a friend that keeps toying with selling his 10 sec 87GN. I'm just waiting for the right chance to grab it.

Very nice car. I have an 87 with 49k, too bad it's broken right now. I'm buying the parts to get it back on the road in hopefully 10 second trim again. I see nice cars like yours and it's giving me the drive to get mine running again. Have fun with it!!

Black, of course!!- 87 Buick Grand National
Welcome to the darkside, beautiful car. Only thing I don't like are the tail pipes, but that's just my opinion though.
