My New Ride
2009 G8 GT sport red metallic
6.0L L76 (LS2 with L92 heads)
6L80E
Despite it being much more refined, and tame than the SS, this thing still hauls ass and is quite fun to drive. Almost turns as many heads.
When I bought it, I drove the SS home, and she drove this home, she managed to keep up with me pretty good on some interstate pulls, up over 100 a few times.
OK this getting old...3 times lately I have tried to post pics for one reason or another, and i KEEP getting told the image is too big unless I make it too small to see anything, Im trying to upload a picture from my desktop

Looked at a low mile G8 GT back when we bought the Challenger. Just couldn't convince the wife and since it was going to be her car... we came home with the Dodge.
Congrats! + whatever on pics, please!

yeah i definitely cannot get photobucket to work.
I tried all 4 codes, both with the " Retrieve remote file and reference locally" box checked, and not. So 8 attemptsLast edited by Spikito; 03-16-2013 at 06:11 PM.

Nice. Enjoy the ride. Its nice having a car with more than enough room for a carseat in the back and that can get up and go when needed.

oh its very clean...i took it by my body shop guy and he couldn't believe it was an 09...it has one tiny rock chip on the hood, and the passenger side window trim is a little dried out, prob form how the previous owner parked it.
its got 49k
Yeah i drove to Dallas and back today, mostly interstate, 3 cars where playing a little cup game with each other, 15 mph below the limit, I saw a hole and punched it to get past them...looked down and I had gone from 65 to 120, lol. The 6 speed auto is nice, I never notice it shift and it keeps the RPMs low, but then when I get on it, I have mult gears to choose from when I downshift.
I also like having the dual climate control, hell, A/C for that matter, lol, A useable trunk, amongst other little things.

probably just intake and exhaust....esp since i dumped a large chunk of change into a 3 year power train warranty
I also did a road hazard warranty for rims and tires, dunno how that will affect any aftermarket stuff.
I want this car to be more about show than go. I recently found out about the Solo exhaust, ill prob do that and leave the manifolds, and either roto-fab or vararam intake, and some sort of tune. From what Ive read, just those 3 things can add quite a bit of power since the engine is really just a de-tuned LS2

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Very nice car Dustin. There is so much aftermarket for the G8s, it's sick. Staggered polished 19s would look nice on that color.

I agree...tires for 19s are just such a PITA though...i forgot to add that I do intend to lower it a bit when I fix my driveway....apparently the eibach pro-kit is highly recommended and drops an inch

Very cool car.
What rear gear ratio, is that a 2.9X? With the 6 speed auto they come out of the hole pretty well with that gearing.
