my lunch > yours...
cornish hen... red potatoes... carrots...
threw the cornish hen in my slow cooker last night with some oninos, red potatoes and carrots... put some rotisserie spices, salt, 4 different peppers from my pepper mill and some other shit on it... tossed a handful of butter (yes... i used my hand...) some extra virgin (also extra expensive ) olive oil and some beer...
well i frogot that i had it cooking away until i got home for my lunch break... the chicken was so damned moist that it fell apart while trying to get it out of my slow cooker...
i plan on using the left over broth to make french onion soup tonight for my dinner...

I had a bowl of potato chips and a mountain dew for lunch.
I guess, technically, it was breakfast.

Speaking of which I really need to order lunch like NOW, I'm starving but was in a meeting at my normal ordering time

I was actually dying for the Yakisoba but can't seem to order Japanese without getting some sushi also. I doubt the spicy tuna crunch was part of that massive tuna. the crunch is just tempura flakes added to the spicy mayo/tuna mix. Best spicy tuna I EVER had was at a place near here called Opia. We had our Christmas party there this year and they had all you could eat sushi.... needless to say I was filled to the brim with spicy tuna roll. Unlike others Opia doesn't mince the tuna first. just brush it with some kind of spicy sauce and roll it with i think scallion. mmmmmm SOOOOOO good!
