My Fluval EBi tank
I took these pics right after I was done putting the wood & plants in so the water was a bit cloudy, obviously.
Won some cherry shrimp on Aquabid so those will be here soon. I also want to add some black forest & bumble bee shrimp.
Going to add a couple fish, but still have not decided which ones.
The wood is African rootwood, plants consists of Cabomba, Java Fern, moss ball & Anacharis. Added some Eco-Complete substrate to the Fluval shrimp substrate.
Added a Fluval heater.

assuming it's fresh water i'd get a red belly or black piranha... i have a red belly... i actually need to get another pleco tonight cause my last one died... of course the piranha ate him when he died...

that is going to be difficult unless they are about full grown... a piranha won't bug them if he is a bit larger in size (maybe 3" not including tail) and as long as you have a few guppies and gold fish in with him... mine likes to pick away gold fish when he feels like it... i get 48 gold fish every other week...
as far as other fish and what nots i'd get some fresh water snails and a pleco to clean the other stuff that the shrimp won't... i'd take a trip to the local pet store and see what kind of fish they like and pick out what you find appealing...

i am a big fan of african cichlids but they would eat the hell out of your shrimp... they are extremely aggressive but very nice to look at and they would love your tank.
all of my african cichlids are gone now.. just have a 8" pleco in my 55gal tank.... i always wanted some crayfish, just think they are cool. might get me some....

At one time my tank consisted of more neons than most people have guppies. Sure was purdy

Those fish are too big for this 8g tank. I will prob end up w/neons of some sort.

It is hard as hell to get a salt water tank to last, but once you get it started it's alot of upkeep, my brothers had one it was pretty cool. How big is that tank?

One of my co-workers has an entire room filled with 50gallon tanks, and one big ass mofo built into the wall with sharks in it. Think sharks were like 1500 a piece or some shit. Waste of money.

Added some red cherry shrimp, 3 Cardinal Tetras, 3 Cherry Barbs & a couple more plants this weekend. Was tempted to buy a couple red crystal shrimp @ the LFS, but at $9 each, I'll see how the RCS do w/the fish first.
