    My boyfriend cheated on me!

Well after all this time saving for and wanting an ls1 I realized today there is no way I can not afford one. Instead I am gonna buy a 99 gtp that I can afford and do a basic 3.4 pulley setup. Do any of your guys know gtp's, would it be a good car for a 17 year old?

P.S I will still be coming to this great site all of you guys are really cool way better than ls1tech

first off I'd recommend changing the title to your thread

secondly, the GTP's are awesome cars. We had a 99 and that's been one of my favorite cars I've ever owned. 12x,xxx miles on it when we sold it and I had to fix 1 thing on it the entire time we owned it. A pulley swap makes those cars move along pretty good.

GTP's can be very nice cars, quick and reliable. Change your thread title or make a new post somewhere else and get some good advice about these cars. They really aren't bad and can be made quick.

That does'nt work. Only changes the "in-thread" title. I've tried to change the thead title of my build project this way and it does'nt do anything...

    Thanks for the props, Rich.

I've only had my GTP for about 2.5 months and I've already fallen in love with it. Raced quite a bit on he street and it still keeps surprising me. Ran a best of 13.919 on street tires with the only major mod being a 3.4 pulley. I actually beat a 5.0 Mustang GT last Friday by .2 seconds.
