Looks really good Boner. We had to do ours about 7 months ago due to the bath cracking and leaking through to the floor and rotting the timber. The whole room had to be gutted except for about 20 inches from the ceiling. We also had a shower over bath before the reno, but separated them as we had a bit of unused space.
Before...
After

That is an extremely interesting shower/tub configuration...
How do you like it now that you have used it and had to live with it... Would you do it again or would you so somthing different?

p.s. is your bathroom about 75" from the sink wall to the window wall?
p.p.s Where did you get that shower enclosure and do you mid give out the price of it?Last edited by predator; 01-09-2009 at 01:15 PM.

If you mean me, I'm not totally happy with the configuration, but it came after months of working out where everything had to go. The room is 10' x 6'6", but still not big enough to be comfortable with everthing we wanted in there. It is 60" from the window wall to the sink front edge. The shower enclosure cost $800 because we went with a semi framed door in toughened glass and a custom handle rather than the plastic one that came with it.
Same here, better resale and the mrs wanted a bath still for her and the kids. You have done extremely well there Boner given the amount of space you had to work with.
Thanx, but I cant take the credit for it. I had a guy come in and do it for 1k cash. He was out and done in 2 days...
Sorry to highjack your thread Boner. How do you find the flip mixer in the shower? I was going to go that way but was hesitant because I thought I would bump it while showering...

You should to Japan sometime....
Besides the "asian" toilets which are basically ceramic holes in the floor that people squat over, the high tech toilet industry is in high gear over there. A hotel I stayed at had a built in butt washer and butt dryer right in the toilet, along with a heated seat.Last edited by tnthub; 01-10-2009 at 11:48 AM. Reason: spelling
