My 440 LSX in a...
These Vettes can be picked up for cheap. Thought it might be fun to throw my 440 LSX in one as a hydraulic roller, match it up with a built M6 and convert the rear to throw in another FAB9. I even like the stock wheels lol...

I like the idea. And yes the late model C3s are cheap these days.

I think it would be fun...I certainly don't see many of them on the road. I don't need to sell my engine so might as well do something with it

I love the C3 body style. That would make it an interesting build

Black / White- '00 T/A M6/'19 Hemi Truck
A shop I frequent in East Tennessee built a C3 with an LS3 recently. Car was pretty damn cool to say the least.

I could have the rear mini tubbed easily enough, fit decent size MT ET Streets back there. The engine was built for a 400 shot...put a bottle with 150 jets in there. Would be really fun

That would be fun in pretty much any vehicle.

It would. I've always wanted to have an older car so this would work well

The best would be to use an old "Crossfire" C3 and keep the badging!
I always think about trying to find an '81 or '82 Mint condition Cutlass Supreme Coupe Diesel and dropping and LSX in for a family tourer (and keep the diesel badges on). Of. Ourse, a Duramax could be fun too.

Right, that's the plan. I'd keep the outside stock save for better/wider tires. I'd also put a set of side pipes on. The cam wouldn't be as radical with the hydraulic roller but definitely still big. I'd also back the compression down to 11.5:1 or so. Healthy cam and side pipes? Yes please

You should put it in a late 80s early 90s e150 van. Get yourself a real sleeper.

If I had an LSX engine sitting around waiting for a home, I'd most likely let it set up residence in one of these...
Shouldn't be too hard to find one with a blown engine

I'd be happy doing that swap in an FC

FC or FD would outperform the C3.
Plus, with a nice set of wheels, both are simply beautiful cars.Demanding something free on top of a discount is just being a Democrat

An LSX in a FD might outperform a c6.

Sure but the late model c3 will be less expensive.
