    MT Supercar Shootout

Just thought I would post this. Pretty good review in my opinion, GT500 doesn't really have a place in this comparison but it's still overall a pretty interesting watch. Z06 has gotten pretty expensive though. I suppose it's still a pretty good deal for the money, just not as great of one as it once was. Carbon Edition is basically up there in ZR1 territory which is a little much IMO.

    watched the whole thing..

the driver mentioned he turned all TCS off on the vette, but what about the GTR?, IIRC doesn't it also have several TC systems, some that you can't even turn off? might have biased the review a little bit if so..

he was spot on about the sudden oversteer in the Vette, even a base model is tricky, it's a lot harder to get the backend loose I'm sure than a Z06, which I've never driven, but when it does it's a point of no return, you just have to let off a little and hope for the best...

Call me crazy but I LOVE all 3 cars. Those 3 cars are 3 of my favorite cars all time. They each do great things in different ways and are respective values in their categories ( like someone else said the z06 is getting a bit pricey now though). Did I just call 50k-100k cars a value? haha. Consider the fact that they perform as good as cars costing double the price.

I rode in a gt-r at work the other day, and while its pretty damn quiet, smooth as shit, etc Good god does that thing pull fucking hard. the speedometer moves as fast as the tach does lol You can throw it into corners at a bagillion miles an hour and it just sticks. Yes the vette you can too, but go past the holding limit and you are gonna end up on wreckedexotics.com

Ps. Even with you guys being GM guys and such, isnt it still pretty freakin impressive that the mustang did as well as it did with a fucking live axle? 1.01 g's with a live axle!
