    I don't personally but there was a guy I use to work with that built such bikes. His bike was a beach cruiser with 1 gear but he said he could still do about 20mph with it. He rode it every day to work, he lived on a boat right down the road at the marina and had no real need for a car. He eventually built a second one and sold his first one to another co-worker. There pretty cool, not sure I would drop $500-$600 on one.

    A coworker at my old shop built one from an old 20 inch bike and a lawn edger engine. We use to ride it around the shopping center all the time when it was slow
