    Man I can't believe I did not know about these earlier!! I just opened my first with Capital One at 3%. I'm shopping for higher rates but damn I wanted to start today. Screw my banks absymal rate.

    Actually I'm using this strictly for savings. I will use my current banks checking for paying bills but anything I save is going to be in the market.

    Oh, okay.... Look into HSBC Direct, not much more but they offer 3.05% on a savings account.
