Monday night football
1st game you got MV1 going against MV2. I've been flip flopping on this pick all week. Not sure who I'll convince myself is going to win before the game starts. I can see this game as a toss up really. Washington's D combined with MV1's desire to turn the ball over is the only reason I think Washington has a chance to win. I'm not even factoring MV2 into the equation because he hasn't played pre-season and has been limited during camp. He's not just going to step onto the field and pick up where he left off.
2nd game is Houston vs San Diego. If Houston is involved in a bus or plane crash then San Diego has a chance of winning this game. Other than that it's gonna be all Houston.

SKINS but it's going to be a hell of a game. There's tons of unknowns and it has me really nervous. There's Chip Kellys premiere with his no huddle offense. Some say it'll change the game as we know it but I don't see how, Manning has been doing that shit for years. The Eagles switched to a 3-4 D during the offseason and it takes a long time to master that. I'm expecting blown assignments which makes me giggle. Skins have been in 3-4 for awhile now so our offense see's it every day. Then there's ol' RGknee...love the guy but he needs to settle down, knock the rust off and just fling the ball all season. That running crap needs to be saved for extreme situations not just to pick up some first down.
HOUSTON...enough said.

Pats ran like 87 plays yesterday or something like that......I don't care how much no huddle you want to run it's not gonna be more plays than that most likely. I am curious to see how Chip Kelly fairs in the pro's. We've all seen it before though...hype is one thing....doing it is another. Skins have a lot on their side but I'm still taking Philly. Vick has one thing that MV2 doesn't.......experience. That'll be the difference. Plus MV2's knee is gonna get blown out again so the skins will be on a back up QB the 2nd half.

There's nothing I like more than seeing San Diego get out to a nice big lead, only to completely blow it. Well, maybe I like seeing Rivers get blown up more. maybe

both games tonight were kinda retarded. I would be worried if I were a fan of either 4 of the teams that played tonight. If you're a houston fan you may be feeling pretty good about the comeback but you have to also worry about your D getting owned like that by San Diego the whole first half. Most teams won't give those points back up. First game of the season though I guess. Week 4 or 5 is where we'll start to see the cream rising to the top. Even with Denver dominating Thursday it doesn't necessarily prove that they're going to do that week in and week out. We don't really know how good the Ravens are. Their D is in terrible shape and Flacco is highly over rated. A few weeks from now is when you'll know what kinda team you got.....after they've been tested a few times. Denver certainly has all the pieces though. The game I'm looking forward to next week is that Seattle/San Fran game since it's in Seattle but I'm pretty suspect that Seattle isn't still being a little over rated. They barely got past Carolina this week. I mean 12 points against Carolina's D???? They gonna have to do better than that.

I did. Lets see if they stick it to me again like they did every game but one last season. I picked them to win, they lost. I pick them to lose, they won
But I know what you mean. I'm still counting on my Steelers. Without Pouncy and Foote it could go badly. But, They've been my team since the 70's and many players have come and gone since then... So...

so just for the record you picked them ('skins) to lose this weekend, right KR?
BRB, depending on KR's answer I may need to make a change on my picks

I will be flabbergasted if my Skins picks go the same way this season as last...
