Firefighter is extremely difficult to get. I have only seen one person get it during my time as a Recruiting Company Commander. There are not many of those jobs available since civilians usually are the fire fighters on post. If you have any questions pm me

If you want to be a firefighter it's best to be a civilian one....you make better money and there's more jobs open.

the navys damage control is always a great option, they are in charge of fire control aboard ships, and when a ship catches fire its usually big

Recruiters LIE!!!! I do not care how much they seem like they care...they Dont! If you want to be a firefighter then make damn sure they guarantee it to you before you sign anything!

Look into the airforce for that.....
I was in the marine corps....and my friend joined my mos which is (Fire Direction and Control)....lol he thought he was gonna be a firefighter.....LOL little did he know that
that another name for it is "Forward Observer"
Lol we go on patrol...call in artillery, close air support, mortar fire and naval gunfire lol...
even his recruiter told him it was a firefight job....
Everything that I hear is that the airforce has a bad ass crash fire rescue thing man

I have no reason to lie, I wouldn't get any contract credit unless he was joining in Cincinnati. Also why would I lie then train him how to shoot knowing he would come back to the area to find me. Lying to an an applicant is stupid because they will tell everyone they know what you did. We want referrals from people we enlist, if you are not happy with the way we treated you we won't get any and probably lose more contracts in the long run

i was in the army from 89-91. im not one of the mtv anti everything fuckers.
personal experience taught me that just about everything learned in the military was useless in real life.
truthfully anything learned in the military can be learned in civilian life.
well outside of shooting really big guns

Lol.....I dont know man.....
Mayb thats the difference between army and marine corps (Not saying anything bad bout army)
But there is a ton of leadership skills that woudl take a hell of allot longer to learn in the civilian world.....if u could be able to learn em at all
