so i just bought the game and cant wait to get home to play the hell out of it...am i the only one around here that is pumped about another MGS series game is out..its about 67% the reason i bought the ps3

I'm a hugh fan of the series. Metal gear: SOLID for the ps1 was the frist game I ever played start to finish, 18 hours straight. Played them all and getting MGS4 taday too.

i know its going to blow my mind...i'm pumped that you get to go back to shadow mosses
from the "mgs1 solid snake" first mgs game on the ps1....i hope there are alot of nostalgic things in those parts..i can still pretty much beat "mgs1" with my eyes closed...and i get to use metal gear REX..which i still think is the baddest ass MG yet.

that hilarious . . . i had snakes revenge for nes and didnt realize it was metal gear until i played solid for ps1 for while then put 2 and 2 together

before my time unfortunately..i got hooked on mgs when soild came out for the ps1

i beat it and am working on my second time through...i'm trying to get the dolls now for the solar gun. and the bandana..its hard not to kill someone

I played the one for ps1.. the original.. absolutely loved that game! But, I never did beat it.. don't remember why, I think I didn't have enough time (or maybe I got stuck).. But I think I did get pretty far.. Loved the story line..

Tried playing snake eater for ps2, but I didn't even get into more than 30 minutes.. Maybe it was my television, but the whole jungle thing in the beginning was EXTREMELY hard to see where I was going... Just didn't get into it too much.

It's a good game. Short (not counting movie time). Play for 30 min, watch an hour movie, rinse and repeat.

But I really did like the movies and cinematics.. The storyline was really good to me, at least in the one I played for the PS1.. Not sure if they continued to be as good or not

yup minus mgs2..the story was ghey..but now with mgs4 everything is tied up.

yup and now i am on round three with the game. i got the BB dolls and the solar gun..didnt get the no kills..i got stuck with 4 kills oh well i will just shell out the 5 mill DP points

well the dolls are from the BB battles..if you use non-lethal force then you can pick up the dolls..if you get all the dolls you get a bad ass gun.

mgs3 is hard to see...takes getting used to..you should try to play mgs1 again..i still know that game by heart..so i could always walk you through if you get stuck.
