    I dont think a Sprint Cup Nascar car would have faired any better. He slid sideways into a wall, he got t-boned by it.

    Ya, you do that and get back to me Gordon's wreck was at Vegas. That has been fixed. They major difference was the wall was way lower in the track (comparatively) and it was coming out of the corner, not INTO the corner.

    Again, those 'ends' are coming out of the corners. Can't hit them like he did. The wall in mexico was like that goin INTO the corner. Not safe.

    Goin 120, entering the corner? Correct. If the wall started in the middle of the straightaway, sure they could. But the wall is at the from one end of the corner to the next. With the laws of physics, a wreck like the one that killed Pardo is not gonna happen there.

    Looked like poor welding techniques were used. Looked like every weld broke on the cage. Cage should have bent not broke.
